Halliburton Energy Services in Maturín, Venezuela, seeks a Logging & Perforating Maintenance Professional to ensure reliability of surface and downhole equipment in demanding oilfield environments.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, support field operations offshore and onshore, and mentor junior technicians while upholding HSE and service quality standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• 5–7 years in electromechanical maintenance or related technical field
• Knowledge of surface and downhole logging and perforating tools
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting methods
• Familiarity with test equipment, electronics and maintenance practices
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to work outside normal hours and travel to offshore/onshore locations
• English proficiency is mandatory

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on logging and perforating equipment
• Troubleshoot electromechanical systems supporting field operations
• Support open-hole and cased-hole tools maintenance and functionality
• Conduct laboratory and field testing to verify equipment performance
• Lead heavy tool handling and ensure safe operation
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions
• Maintain service records and document maintenance activities
• Coordinate repairs with external facilities
• Collaborate with Technical Services to resolve complex issues
• Monitor spare parts inventory and support equipment readiness
• Provide field support and mentor junior staff
• Uphold Health, Safety, Environment and Service Quality standards
