Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Frontend Design System Engineer to build scalable UI components and schema-driven frontend solutions. You will translate designs into pixel-perfect interfaces, implement component-driven architectures, and contribute to automated tests to ensure quality.

Remote role available for candidates in Costa Rica or Peru, requiring 7+ years of frontend experience and strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue, CSS/SCSS, and design systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar component-driven frameworks.
• Ability to quickly adapt to proprietary frameworks and internal development ecosystems.
• Proven experience building schema-driven and data-driven UI components.
• Strong understanding of component architecture and reusable design patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of CSS, SCSS/Sass, Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design, and design token-based systems.
• Experience developing pixel-perfect user interfaces from design specifications.
• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or similar solutions.
• Deep understanding of DOM lifecycle, semantic HTML, browser rendering, and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience handling edge cases, dynamic content rendering, localization, and responsive behavior.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments.
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English communication skills.
