Thea Career Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our engineering team on remote projects. You will prepare precise structural calculations, load paths, and construction drawings for wood-frame and reinforced concrete systems, collaborating with architects and project leads to ensure constructability.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in structural design, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, NDS). EIT is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2 to 5+ years of structural design experience with a proven track record in wood and concrete.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (Enercalc, RISA, WoodWorks, or RAM).
• EIT preferred; SE/PE track is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural calculations for gravity, lateral, foundation, and retaining systems.
• Design wood-frame assemblies (shear walls, joists, beams) and reinforced concrete elements (foundations, slabs, columns).
• Develop detailed structural plans, sections, and framing details using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate designs with architects, engineers, and project leads to ensure constructability.
• Ensure strict compliance with building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and NDS.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
