Job summary

Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and write CS prompts. This is a remote, 1099 contract opportunity open to applicants across Latin America, with compensation up to $34 per hour and additional incentive opportunities.

A CS degree and live production code experience are preferred, with strong English communication and attention to detail. Applicants from Latin America including Argentina, Mexico and Colombia are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop prompts that challenge AI models.
