Outlier offers a remote, LatAm-focused program for software engineers to help train AI models in code generation. As a QA Coder, you review AI-produced code, rate model responses, and craft clear prompts to advance machine-learning capabilities.

This 1099 contract role pays competitively per hour, with additional incentives, and allows flexible work from anywhere. Ideal candidates hold a CS degree, have production-code experience, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Review AI-generated code: read code produced by AI models and flag errors using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses: score across accuracy, instruction following, and presentation to improve output.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts to challenge AI models and push coding ability.
