Job summary
BairesDev, a global software services company, is hiring a Security Engineer (Application) to safeguard our apps from design through deployment while embedding security into the lifecycle. You will conduct threat modeling, perform secure code reviews, and run automated security tests using SAST/DAST tools; collaborate with development teams and advocate OWASP Top 10.

Qualifications
- 4+ years in Application Security, Cybersecurity, or Software Engineering.
- Proven threat modeling and secure code review experience.
- Hands-on with SAST/DAST tools (Semgrep, SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP ZAP).
Responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify architectural risks early in design.
- Perform secure code reviews to detect logic flaws and enforce security best practices.
- Execute automated security tests with SAST/DAST to maintain secure SDLC.
- Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities per OWASP Top 10 and standards.
- Develop automated security validation tests and promote security-first coding patterns.
- Guide teams to improve overall security posture across applications.
