Job summary

Huawei Caracas office is seeking a Legal Advisor to support legal procedures before courts, regulatory bodies, and third parties. The role ensures compliance with Venezuelan telecom, corporate, and labor regulations, manages governance documents and regulatory filings, and drafts key commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Support legal administrative procedures before courts, public authorities, regulators, and third parties.
• Draft and negotiate commercial, supplier, infrastructure, and service agreements.
• Coordinate litigation and work with external counsel as needed.
• Advise management on legal and regulatory risks and ensure compliance with Venezuelan regulations.

On behalf of Huawei, we are looking for the Caracas, Venezuela Office, a Legal advisor that will be in charge of support the legal administrative procedures before courts, public authorities, regulators, and third parties, labor authorities, and municipal entities. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Venezuelan telecommunications, corporate, commercial, labor, tax, and administrative regulations; managing corporate governance documents, licenses, permits, regulatory filings, and sector contributions; drafting and negotiating commercial, supplier, infrastructure, and service agreements; advising management on legal and regulatory risks; coordinating litigation and external counsel; and supporting labor, operational, and compliance matters.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a Venezuelan-qualified lawyer with active professional registration, significant experience in corporate and regulatory law—preferably in telecommunications or infrastructure—and professional English proficiency.
