Baker Hughes in Venezuela is seeking a Field Specialist II to read blueprints, apply GD&T, perform machining calculations, set up machines, and ensure quality. You will work with production, quality, engineering, and operations teams to support manufacturing, repair, and maintenance activities.

You will follow safety and quality standards, handle machine control data, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining attention to detail.

Formación

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and operating procedures.
• Possess working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Have the ability to apply basic algebraic and geometric principles.
• Demonstrate knowledge of machining processes and machine setup requirements.
• Be comfortable working with computerized machine control systems.
• Possess strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, safety procedures, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
• Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to manufacturing and operational activities.
• Perform machining‑related calculations involving speed, feed, coolant flow, depth of cut, and cutting angles.
• Set and adjust machine controls to support accurate manufacturing processes.
• Enter, retrieve, and edit computerized machine control information as required.
• Utilize engineering documentation and operational procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support manufacturing, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain compliance with Baker Hughes quality, operational, and HSE standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and operations teams.

As a Field Specialist II, you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role you will:
