Kiwa PPI is a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC). We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation QA Inspector in Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil to support the restoration of an existing facility in Venezuela.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical engineering experience, with proven experience in shutdown, turnaround, or outage support.
Strong technical background in power distribution systems and field quality control.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise on medium and low-voltage equipment, MCCs, transformers, substations, relays, circuit breakers, busbar systems, emergency power, and grounding systems.
Deliver field engineering support, monitor critical activities, resolve technical issues, coordinate engineering responses for contractors, and manage emergent work.
Verify isolation plans, support testing, review commissioning results, verify energization, and troubleshoot startup issues.
Participate in root cause analyses, log lessons learned, and support reliability improvement strategies.
