Santa Rosa Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (SRBHH) in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). The role provides direct patient care to adolescents, adults and older adults, assisting with ADLs, meals, and vital signs while maintaining a safe, therapeutic milieu.

You will work with the nursing team under the Chief Nursing Officer to support treatment plans, documentation, and patient progress in a fast-paced psychiatric unit.

Formación

• High school level reading and writing skills required.
• CNA certification required and CPR certification current or within 30 days.
• Experience or training in de-escalation preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care to adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living and meals.
• Monitors vitals and reports to nursing staff.
• Transports patients and aids in treatment planning.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment on the unit.
• Participates in documentation, rounds, and shift reports.
• Supports behavioral intervention plans and discharge planning.

Educación

High school or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Current CPR certification

Pursuit of college degree preferred
