Outlier is building a remote program where software engineers help train AI models by reviewing AI-generated code, rating responses, and crafting high-quality prompts. Open to all of Latin America.

As a QA Coder, you will review code, rate model outputs on accuracy and clarity, and write computer science questions. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with payment up to $34/hour plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read code produced by AI models and flag errors or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses: score responses across key dimensions (accuracy, instruction following, presentation).
• Write computer science questions: develop clear, well-structured prompts that challenge AI models.
