CDL Driver - Propane Transport
Job summary
A propane delivery company in Cheyenne, Wyoming is looking for a driver to transport propane safely and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a CDL with Hazmat endorsements, 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. This role offers competitive pay starting at $30/hour, alongside a benefits package including health insurance and a 401k plan.

- 3 years of bulk propane transport experience required.
- Must be 25 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Transport propane to local customers safely and professionally.
- Complete required paperwork accurately.
- Operate machinery and perform loading/unloading tasks.

At Butch’s, we put the “pro” in propane! Locally based, our drivers deliver propane and top-notch customer service in the greater Obert, Nebraska and Cheyenne, Wyoming areas.
- Transport propane to local customers in a safe, professional manner
- Deliver according to instructions
- Complete required paperwork accurately in a timely manner
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and all DOT regulations
- Evaluate vehicles before and after trips, and report any mechanical and/or safety issues
- Document throughout the day, including work and rest periods
- Operate machinery, including operating pumps, connect and disconnect hoses, and valves for loading and unloading
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for Tanker "N" and Hazardous Materials "H"
- Possess a minimum of
- 3 years of CDL Hazmat driving experience
- 3 years bulk propane transport experience
- 25 years of age
- Lift 75 lbs comfortably
- Demonstrate a safe driving history, with no major violations on MVR or PSP in the last 5 years
- Pass DOT drug test
- Proficient in writing and speaking English
- Able to work outside for long periods of time
- Competitive pay from $30/hour, depending on experience
