The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 8+ years in Disability Insurance Underwriting, and proficiency in data visualization tools. - High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Disability Insurance Underwriting
- Established approval limit without second signature: $20,000 per month of DI, $50,000 Business Overhead, and $3,000,000 of Buy-Sell
- At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Completion of industry exams (e.g., ALU 101, 201, 202, LOMA, ALMI, FMLI, ALU, FALU, DIA, DIF, RHU)
- Mastery knowledge of individual DI insurance practices and underwriting standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of exceeding performance expectations
