Job summary

RGP is seeking a highly experienced Zuora Subject Matter Expert Consultant to partner with a client on assessing, optimizing, and enhancing their subscription billing and revenue ecosystem. This engagement requires deep expertise across Zuora implementations, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and ERP integrations, with a focus on NetSuite and Salesforce-to-Billing interfaces.

The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, offering independent perspective on current-state processes and architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with Zuora platforms.
• Deep expertise in subscription-based business models and ASC 606 / revenue recognition.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce-to-Billing and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience with NetSuite and complex ERP integrations; multiple Zuora implementations.

RGP is seeking a highly experienced Zuora Subject Matter Expert Consultant to partner with a client on the assessment, optimization, and enhancement of their subscription billing and revenue ecosystem.

This consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, providing an independent perspective on the client's current-state processes, systems architecture, and integration framework. The ideal candidate has led multiple Zuora implementations across diverse environments and brings deep expertise in subscription billing, revenue recognition, and ERP integrations. This is a 3-4 month engagement.

What You Will Work On

• Assess and provide recommendations on existing Zuora architecture and business processes.
• Evaluate billing, revenue recognition, and quote-to-cash workflows.
• Review and optimize integrations between:
• NetSuite
• Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and scalability.
• Provide strategic guidance and challenge existing assumptions around systems configuration and business workflows.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Accounting, IT, Business Systems, and Operations teams.
• Support roadmap development and future-state architecture recommendations.

What You Will Bring

• 8+ years of experience working with Zuora platforms.
• Deep expertise in:
• Subscription-based business models
• ASC 606 / Revenue Recognition
• Strong understanding of Salesforce-to-Billing and Order-to-Cash process flows.
• Experience with NetSuite and complex ERP integrations.
• Multiple Zuora implementation, optimization, or transformation projects across different organizations.
• Ability to engage with executive stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prior consulting experience strongly preferred.

• SaaS industry background.
• Solution architecture or enterprise systems transformation experience.
