Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Network Security Engineering Manager to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Zscaler capabilities across complex enterprise environments. You will guide ZIA and ZPA implementations, ZTNA transformations, and cloud connectors in hybrid on-prem and cloud ecosystems.

The role requires deep expertise in Zscaler, cloud security, and enterprise network transformation, with a strong leadership track record and the ability to travel up to 50% for client engagements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology)
• ZDTE certification required
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with ZIA (web filtering, DNS security, cloud firewall, etc.)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with ZPA (application segment, access policies, connector deployment, ZTNA)
• 3+ years with Zscaler Branch Connector
• 3+ years with Zscaler Cloud Connector
• 4+ years with AWS/GCP/Azure to deploy ZPA App Connectors
• 5+ years configuring advanced Zscaler features (ATP, IPS, DLP, CBI)
• 2+ years with Zscaler AI capabilities (ZDX, policy recommendations)
• 3+ years defining and reviewing Zscaler policies
• Experience with identity provider integrations (Okta, Azure AD, SAML/SCIM)
• Big 4/consulting experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, deployment, and operational management of ZIA and ZPA across complex enterprise environments
• Manage ZTNA transformation workstreams, including replacing legacy VPN infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership for policy administration, SSL/TLS inspection, DLP, and cloud-based traffic inspection
• Oversee branch, cloud, and application connector architectures across on-prem and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Direct development and QA of deliverables and client-facing recommendations aligned with security and transformation goals
• Lead client and delivery teams through execution, managing workplans, risks, and stakeholder communications
