Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in the Data Protection and Privacy team to serve as a Zscaler Architect. You will own end-to-end solution architecture for defined engagements and lead multidisciplinary delivery teams.

You will translate business, security, legal, regulatory, and technology requirements into integrated zero trust strategies and roadmaps, driving governance and implementation programs across client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Data Science, Privacy, or related field.
• Approximately 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity or technology consulting experience.
• Experience architecting integrated Zscaler solutions across secure internet access, private app access, cloud, and data protection.
• Hands-on architecture or delivery experience with Zscaler products including ISA and ZPA.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating client and third-party stakeholders.
• Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA or other privacy/security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zscaler security and data protection engagements from discovery to benefits realization.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture across Zscaler components and related security layers.
• Design secure internet, SaaS access, and private application access architectures.
• Incorporate data protection capabilities into zero trust architectures.
• Develop strategic zero trust, secure access, data protection, cloud, and identity roadmaps.
• Lead enterprise security assessments, architecture reviews, and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate workshops across security, privacy, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into target-state architectures and implementation plans.
• Establish architecture principles, reference patterns, and quality criteria for Zscaler solutions.
• Design integrations with identity, endpoint, SIEM/SOAR, ITSM, and cloud platforms.
• Manage engagement scope, budgets, risks, and executive reporting.
• Provide architecture coaching to junior resources and elevate material risks.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to proposals and pricing.
• Develop reusable architectures, accelerators, and thought leadership.
