Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is hiring a Retail Zone Specialist to assist customers and maintain store presentation. The role focuses on customer service, merchandising, and upkeep within the assigned store zone.

You will ensure products are displayed per visual standards, know current promotions, and help with receiving, pricing, and recovery of merchandise. A team-oriented, flexible candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and help maintain store appearance.
• Maintain zone merchandised per visual standards and know current promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising, and recovering the store.
• Keep assigned zone neat and organized and take on additional duties as needed.

Position Overview:

The Retail Zone Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Retail Zone Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all product within the zone is merchandised and recovered per the visual merchandise standards.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain assigned zone in a neat and organized fashion and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
