Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Minneapolis is seeking a Zone/Service Center Material Handler I to support receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping warehouse inventory. This role uses our Warehouse Management System and equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to ensure accurate, timely distribution.

You will work in a hands-on, safety-conscious environment with opportunities to grow into higher level positions and participate in our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping warehouse inventory.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments; sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse and follow safety inspections.

You will receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory. Our Zone utilizes a Warehouse Management System so technology is required to perform this job.
