Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sortation Center Warehouse Associate in Liberty, MO. You will sort, scan, and stack orders by ZIP code to ensure timely delivery, while staying on your feet and handling packages throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include sorting from conveyors, loading and unloading, and using scanners and handheld printers. Training is provided and overtime is available as needed.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in the required language.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Pass a job assessment in English.
• Team lift packages above 50 pounds or greater than 90 inches.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and PPE to move items.
• Go up and down stairs where applicable.
• Use step stool.
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory and sort by zip code.
• Sort packages from conveyor belts.
• Stack packages and wrap pallets for deliveries.
• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printer.
• Unload containers and packages from trailers.
• Load containers and packages into trailers.
