Job summary

EY is seeking a Zscaler Engineer Senior to oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions within the organization. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure network performance and incident response.

In this role you will drive Zero Trust strategy, assess risks, and align security management with business goals, leveraging partnerships with vendors to deliver comprehensive Zero Trust services.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Zscaler security solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Proficiency in configuring, managing, and optimizing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and industry standards.
• Ability to implement and manage security controls in network environments.
• Understanding of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to think critically and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent documentation skills, including IAM-related procedures and user docs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of network environments.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment and management of network resources.
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement and manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 and other regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on Zscaler security best practices.
• Keep current with Zscaler trends, threats, and technologies.
