Job summary

Echelon Services, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to help deliver enterprise Zero Trust capabilities. You will work with mission teams to onboard applications, define data flows, and implement policy-based access workflows.

The role involves building scalable data pipelines and maintaining governance artifacts in a secure, compliant environment. The candidate will collaborate with application and platform teams, ensure environment readiness, and support data management requirements across

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of data engineering, pipeline, or analytics engineering experience with end-to-end build depth.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with workflow orchestration and infrastructure as code.
• Experience working with mission teams to capture requirements and resolve integration issues.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts and DoD/NIST guidance for onboarding and policy-based access.

Responsibilities

• Onboard mission applications to enterprise Zero Trust services and document integration patterns.
• Act as technical liaison for ZT integration across application and platform teams.
• Develop data-centric onboarding artifacts, including data flows and metadata standards.
• Design, build, and operate data pipelines across heterogeneous sources with orchestrated scheduling.
• Create and maintain ZT use cases and formal onboarding playbooks.
• Coordinate with Agency counterparts to align data definitions and governance.
