Job summary

Altamira Technologies seeks a Cyber Security Architect for our National Security Intelligence team in Herndon, VA. You will be a subject matter expert with deep domain knowledge in zero trust, cloud security and IAM, engaging stakeholders to drive secure architectures.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in intelligence, information security, and network forensics, with TS/SCI/FS poly clearance required.

Qualifications

• Evaluate and advise on zero trust architecture maturity models and road mapping phased adoption.
• Work within IT and Cybersecurity policies, standards and guidance domains.
• Apply critical thinking to assess strengths and weaknesses of solutions related to zero trust.
• Demonstrate knowledge of zero trust frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-207) including micro-segmentation.
• Knowledge of SDN, SASE, and API gateways in network security architectures.
• Knowledge of IAM and MFA systems; cloud-native security in multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align zero trust goals with business objectives.
• Engage with stakeholders to coordinate activities across organization boundaries.
