Job summary
Wyetech, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE2) to develop and sustain enterprise Zabbix monitoring for mission-critical systems from Columbia, Maryland. The role focuses on Zabbix templates, dashboards, agent deployment, and integrations with Linux environments.
The candidate will script in Python/Java/C# and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure proper configuration, deployment, and maintenance. Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or 14+ years of software engineering experience.
- 18 years of software engineering experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance Zabbix monitoring solutions.
- Create and maintain Zabbix templates to monitor hardware servers, system certificates, and applications.
- Configure items, triggers, dashboards, alerts, and related Zabbix components.
- Collaborate with System Administration and Network Engineering teams to implement monitoring.
- Develop scripts in Python, Java, or C# and integrate monitoring with enterprise systems.
- Document monitoring configurations and maintain technical documentation.
