TMZ is seeking a skilled YouTube Video Editor with a strong background in working with established creators. The role focuses on strategic YouTube content, storytelling, and audience engagement to grow viewership.

The candidate will edit long-form videos, craft motion graphics, and collaborate closely with producers and talent to ensure branded, high-quality outputs that perform well on YouTube.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of editing experience.
• Portfolio required showing edits for high end YouTubers.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects and related tools.
• Strong understanding of pacing, timing, storytelling, and YouTube formats.
• Ability to create eye catching thumbnails, transitions, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Edit long form YouTube videos to the highest standard.
• Create 3D animations and motion graphics.
• Collaborate with Producers, Writers, and on-camera talent.
• Maintain consistency across projects (branding, graphics, audio quality, pacing).
• Optimize edits for audience retention and CTR.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Stay up to date on editing trends and YouTube algorithms.
