Job summary

FLIPANY is seeking a part-time Youth Wellness Instructor to lead in-class wellness and nutrition education for youth in Palm Beach County. You will deliver hands-on activities, model healthy habits, and support program goals in community sites.

Role requires mentoring youth, coordinating with site staff, and documenting activities using FLIPANY tablets. Shifts run weekdays 1:30–6:00 pm, with occasional evenings for outreach or events.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working with groups of children.
• Background in social sciences or child development.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prepared to each class with all materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Deliver in-person wellness and nutrition education classes to groups of 15–20 youth.
• Guide youth through hands‑on activities including healthy cooking and gardening.
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment throughout each session.
• Plan ahead by reviewing curriculum and confirming site details and scheduling.
