Job summary

Liliʻuokalani Trust seeks a Youth Engagement Transportation Specialist to support safe travel for kamaliʻi to and from the Liliʻuokalani Center on Oʻahu. You will drive LT’s 11-passenger vans, coordinate with youth, ʻōhana, and LC teammates, and ensure smooth transitions for weekday evenings and Saturday programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience offering transportation services.
• 1–2 years’ experience working with youth and youth programming.
• Ability to work in diverse settings (schools, public spaces, offices, distressed communities, etc.).
• Able to drive long distances and provide safe transportation for youth.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Kamaliʻi Recruitment and Wellness Team to provide transportation support to LC.
• Drive LT’s 11-passenger vans to enable youth access to LC programs.
• Build trusting relationships with youth and engage them through culturally grounded strategies.
• Assist with program planning, implementation and monitoring of transportation services.
• Assist with opening, closing, and monitoring of facilities.
• Plan transportation logistics and provide administrative coordination.
