Job summary

Brien Center in North Adams, MA seeks Direct Care Specialists for the South Forty Program to provide one-on-one and group coaching, guidance, and reinforcement of social, emotional, and communication skills for youth aged 3 to 21.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field per MassHealth criteria with at least 1 year of experience with children/adolescents.
• Associates or high school/equivalent in human services per MassHealth criteria, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in working with children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for assigned youth and coordinate with clinicians.
• Support treatment plans and outreach to family and community contacts.
• Participate in day treatment programming and supervise youth in after-school programs.
• Complete paperwork and attend required trainings.
• Maintain documentation of observations and progress.
