Blue Kite Wellness in Cicero, IL is seeking a Therapeutic Mentor to support youth in the Illinois Pathways to Success program. This full-time, field-based role involves in-home and community-based sessions, with telehealth options when allowed.

You will mentor youth one-on-one, build skills in communication and emotional regulation, and collaborate with Care Coordinators and the care team. You will also complete documentation and participate in supervision, training, and travel to client homes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least one year of experience with children, adolescents, families, behavioral health, mentoring, or community-based services.
• Ability to build rapport with youth and caregivers, model positive behavior.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsabilités

• Provide Therapeutic Mentoring services to eligible youth.
• Work one-on-one with youth to strengthen communication and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with the Child and Family Team, Pathways Supervisor, QMHP or LPHA.
• Recognize changes in youth engagement or safety and inform supervisors.
• Complete timely documentation and participate in supervision and meetings.
• Maintain a reliable schedule and follow confidentiality and safety procedures.
