Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in the care and programming of youth 6–21, OR a high school diploma.
• Direct-care experience with youth in juvenile justice, residential centers, or related settings.
• Appropriate verifiable part-time experience may be accepted on a prorated basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility security.
• Key control.
• Perimeter inspections.
• Vehicle and visitor checks for contraband.
• Camera surveillance of facility.
• Monitor movement throughout the facility.
• Attend training in approved OCFS restraint techniques twice yearly.
