Job summary

New Beginnings, Inc. is seeking a full-time, exempt Program Supervisor to oversee the Augusta Area Street Outreach Program for youth at risk of homelessness. You will supervise staff, coordinate intakes, and manage community-based services with a focus on trauma-informed care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a human-services field and at least two years working with youth, including supervisory experience. A valid driver’s license is essential for street outreach duties and field visits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required in human-services field.
  • Two years' experience with youth; one year supervisory experience required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong counseling, organizational, and computer literacy skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Augusta Area Outreach Program activities.
  • Oversee intakes, eligibility, and recordkeeping for youth in rural service areas.
  • Coordinate service with Residential Services and rural Transitional Living units.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data; prepare reports for grantors and internal review.
  • Build relationships with community agencies and represent the program at events.
  • Assist with program procedures and implement improvements.
