Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Coordinator to enhance the experience for players and coaches across all age groups. You will build strong relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring instructional elements of the i9 Sports experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount.

The role involves hands-on involvement with practices and games, fostering fundamentals, safety, and sportsmanship across multiple age groups and skill levels.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and solve problems.
• Ability to handle various situations to ensure player safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings for the season (~7 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
• Teach & demonstration of core concepts including sportsmanship values.
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
