Amazing Athletes is seeking a Sports Coach to teach sports skills in preschool settings across Santa Clara County. Coaches are expected to work 5-15 classes each week and earn between $25-$30 per class. This position offers a flexible schedule and extensive training to ensure all children have a positive experience while learning fundamental sports skills.

The Company

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. The Position

We are seeking coaches for our multi‑sport enrichment program to work with Preschoolers in the Bay Area. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation's largest multi‑sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. New Coaches can work 5‑15 classes a week, earning $25‑$30 per class. Our programs come with ready‑made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!

The Schedule

• Monday‑Friday between 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
• Monday‑Friday between 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Classes are scheduled in 35‑60 minute increments during these hours.

The Location

Classes are held across pre‑schools/day‑care centers, parks, and recreational centers in Santa Clara County, including Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, Almaden.

Coaches are expected to travel up to 30 minutes to get to a class location.

Requirements

• MUST complete 12 Child Development online (or college) credits
• Willing and able to travel to multiple locations in Santa Clara County throughout the day and week
• Must have own reliable transportation
• Experience working with Preschool age children preferred (preschool teachers, camp counselors, coaches, etc.)
• Confident teaching in front of a group
• Successful at juggling multiple tasks
• Build rapport with students, teachers, directors, and parents on a daily basis
• Must be available to work 3 mornings or 3 afternoons (or a combination) per week
