Job summary

TGA Premier Sports in Wake Forest, NC seeks a energetic Youth Sports Coach (Golf) to deliver after-school golf sessions at local schools. You’ll follow our full curriculum and training, with a flexible, part-time schedule (2–5 days per week, typically 2:30–5:30pm).

No coaching experience is required—training is provided; ideal for students, parents, retirees or others who love working with kids and staying active.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.
• No prior coaching experience required — curriculum and training provided.
• A genuine passion for sports, movement and keeping kids active.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the provided curriculum to children in after-school golf sessions.
• Create a positive, fun learning environment and encourage participation.
• Coordinate with school staff and ensure safe, organized classes.

TGA Premier Sports - Youth Sports Coach (Golf)

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings golf directly to children ages 3-14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Most classes take place on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).

We care first and foremost about finding coaches who genuinely enjoy working with children. If you bring the energy, patience, and ability to connect with kids, we will teach you the sport. TGA provides full curriculum and training, so prior coaching experience is not required.

Requirements

Soft Skills & Personality

• Strong passion for working with kids and helping them grow

• Great communication skills — respond quickly to messages from administrators and clearly communicate how classes went

Experience

• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.)
• No prior coaching experience required — we provide all curriculum and training for Tennis. Note: having experience with the sports you coach is preferred.

Availability & Logistics

• Afternoon (around 2:30-5:30pm) availability (2-5 days per week)
• Willingness to work short shifts (typically 1-3 hours per day)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class
• Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly (processing takes several weeks)
