YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking an Activity Leader I to support programming at the Benjamin Harrison YMCA in Indianapolis. The role focuses on engaging youth and helping deliver diverse activities under supervision.

Under the Program Director, you will help implement programs that foster social, physical, spiritual and mental growth, while modeling the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty and responsibility.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent.
• Passionate about working with teens and able to interact and communicate effectively.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information on children, family and YMCA staff.
• Must maintain current certifications in Heartsaver CPR, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention and New Employee Orientation or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
• Supervisory and administrative skills including ability to supervise program participants and maintain required program documentation and records.

• Assist with staff supervision and provide leadership in the absence of the Director.
