Job summary

Tapouts seeks an energetic SEL Coach to lead live online group sessions for youth, creating a motivating, emotionally safe environment. You will deliver structured activities, foster peer connections, and monitor progress in a dynamic virtual setting.

The role is remote, part-time independent 1099 contractor, with evenings/weekends availability and a flexible schedule to fit peak hours (1-8 pm PT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Mandatory), Master's degree is preferred
• At least 2 years of experience leading live group sessions with children in a virtual or online setting
• At least 5 years of experience designing or leading structured group sessions or programs for children
• SEL, coaching, or mental‑health specific certification is strongly preferred (e.g., ICF, IPEC, PPS Credential, CASEL, Mental Health First Aid)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable using Zoom and Google Suite as day‑to‑day coaching tools
• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week to provide coaching within tapouts peak hours (1-8 pm PT) during weekdays and weekends (6am-8pm PT). Example schedule: Mondays (2pm-6pm), Thursdays (5pm-8pm), Saturdays (8am-11am) and Sundays (6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.)
• A fast, reliable internet connection and a quiet working space

About the role
