Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation is seeking an Official to enforce on-field rules and cultivate a positive culture during youth sports events. This role acts as an on-field coach and advocate for programs, directly impacting players, coaches, and spectators on game days.

The Official ensures fair play, safety, and learning through fun-focused officiating, while supporting team operations and game-day logistics across ages 3-6 and beyond.

Qualifications

• Sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in dynamic situations.
• Strong awareness to ensure player safety during games.
• Ability to work weekends for the season duration (~7 weeks).
• Pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Understand & enforce the i9 Sports rules books ensuring a fun, learning, and safety for all players.
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
• Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
• Officiate games for ages 3-6 years old.
• Field Setup and breakdown.
• Transport equipment to and from the venue.
