Job summary

Ants-Sports in Walnut Creek is seeking passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coaches for the Fall 2026 season. No coaching experience required—training is provided and you’ll lead or assist after-school soccer programs for kids ages 5-10 at local elementary schools.

The role offers 2–6 hours per week, with afternoon classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and opportunities to coach in future seasons. A safe, positive, and energetic approach is expected, with transportation helpful for bringing equipment.

Qualifications

• No coaching experience required; training provided.
• Fall season runs Sept–Dec 2026; must be available for entire season.
• Must pass Federal and state Background Check and/or FBI Fingerprinting and test TB negative in last 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fun & safe weekly soccer practice for kids ages 5-10.
• Teach the FUNdamentals of soccer through a cohesive, game-filled lesson plan. Training provided.
• Ensure a safe and reliable program by arriving on time for each class.
• Attend an orientation training in person.
• Interact positively with parents, teachers, and school staff.
• Set up before and clean up after your program.
• Transport all coaching equipment to/from class each week.
