Job summary

A national sports organization is seeking Coaches and Officials in Suwanee, Georgia. In this role, you will teach the fundamentals of sports to youth players while fostering a fun learning environment. You are expected to create practice plans, communicate effectively with families, and ensure all players receive equal playtime. The position offers a competitive compensation ranging from $12 to $18 per hour based on experience and involvement.

Qualifications

• Wants to help the players learn and have fun
• Can clearly communicate and work with others (Volunteer coaches, parents, and other staff)
• Likes to get involved and stay busy

Responsibilities – Coach

• Learn and understand i9 Sports Rulebook
• Teach players the fundamentals of the sports (kicking, dribbling, throw-ins, goalie positions, spacing, etc.)
• Create a practice plan for the team each week (we can help create it)
• Create a rotation sheet to ensure players play different positions and play equally (document provided by i9 Sports)
• Work the players to help improve from week #1 to week #7
• Communicate to families that it is not about winning or losing, but getting better each week
• Provide weekly communication to families prior to game day (instructions and sample provided by i9 Sports)

Responsibilities – Official

• Learn and understand i9 Sports Rulebook
• Officiate the game and help the players learn from their mistakes
• Communicate the calls loudly and clearly
• Stopwatch and whistle are required (provided by employee)

Compensation: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
