Job summary

Soccer Stars in Tempe, AZ is seeking energetic, dependable coaches to lead after-school soccer activities for kids. You will guide age-appropriate drills, run practices, and host league games on Saturdays in a positive, supportive environment.

Experience with children is valued, and coaching certifications are welcome but not required. You will collaborate with schools, staff, and families to create a fun, safety-first program that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching or working with children is preferred.
• Soccer playing or coaching experience is a plus.
• Coaching certifications are welcome but not required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, organized practices on weekday afternoons and coach league games on select Saturdays.
• Teach soccer fundamentals, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.
• Create a welcoming environment where every player can succeed.
• Communicate with families and program staff as needed.
• Be a positive role model for players.
