Job summary

Soccer Stars seeks energetic youth coaches to lead soccer activities for ages 1‑5 in Long Island and Eastern Queens. You’ll deliver a positive, non‑competitive experience while promoting social skills and character development alongside fun, safe play.

The role offers flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities to grow within our program, with travel to local schools using your own transportation. Prior sports passion helps greatly.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.
• Passion for sports / fitness and working with young children, in particular those ages 1‑5.
• Background in fitness a plus (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.).
• Background working with children a plus (camp counselor, elementary education substitute teacher, coach).
• Must be able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Coaches show up on time for every class to set themselves up for success.
• Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
• Coaches use a non‑competitive approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress‑free environment.
• Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success.
• Coaches have a blast. They are open‑minded, know that coaching is a continuous journey, are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular trainings and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual.
