Job summary

MCYP is seeking a Youth Services Support Counselor/Care Manager to provide para-professional support in Ukiah, Covelo, and community sites. You will facilitate Positive Youth Development activities, deliver presentations, and support students with social-emotional and mental health needs.

The role includes case management, housing navigation, and crisis line rotation; you will work with diverse youth, maintain confidentiality, and participate in supervision and trainings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and community programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours for crisis line rotation.
• Ability to coordinate with partners and educators.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Positive Youth Development activities.
• Deliver educational presentations and groups.
• Provide social-emotional and mental health wellness support.
• Perform case/care management and goal setting.
• Rotate on 24/7 crisis line and monitor court-ordered visits.
• Coordinate housing navigation and independent living skills training.
