Job summary

Pathway Family Services in Topeka, KS, seeks a Residential Unit Leader for our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program. In this full-time role, you will supervise daily schedules, oversee treatment plans, and ensure care standards are met with excellence. Requires a high school diploma, 2 years in a residential setting, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential program; medical care center experience a plus.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards.
Completion of Safe Crisis Management training (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

Coordinate and direct group activities per treatment schedules.
Monitor and report supply and curriculum needs for psychosocial programming.
Ensure staff are equipped with materials for therapeutic groups and activities.
Collaborate with medical, therapeutic, and educational departments for holistic care.
Document staff interactions, incidents, and resident progress.
Support direct care staff during emergencies or crises.
Attend staff meetings, supervision sessions, and coaching.
