Youth Consultation Service (YCS) seeks a Direct Support Professional for a part-time residential assistant role in Hackensack, NJ. The position supports high-risk youth in a group residence setting, supervising activities and assisting with routines under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related social service field required; MSW enrollment preferred.
• 3+ years of experience working with youth in a behavioral group setting.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Schedule includes Weekdays, Weekends; Part-time or On-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities.
• Lead milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber.
• Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans.
• Observe, document, and acknowledge positive behaviors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
