Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic’s East Mountain Youth Lodge provides 24-hour residential care for adolescents aged 13–18 with emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, or substance use needs. This role supports daily living, supervision, and structured activities, under clinical staff guidance, ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, documentation, and adherence to program rules, with on-call shifts and attention to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of youth-group work experience.
• Associate/Bachelor degree in social work/psychology or related field as specified.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour care in a residential lodge setting.
• Supervise residents and support daily living activities (hygiene, meals, room upkeep).
• Lead activity groups and recreational activities with clinical staff guidance.
• Serve as primary counselor for assigned residents; maintain confidentiality.
