Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to oversee leisure-time activities for youth and to teach physical education. The role emphasizes developing teamwork, group cooperation, and safe, engaging activities across indoor and outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required.
• Experience in recreation working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conducting, and supervising/chaperoning a wide variety of leisure-time activities for all students
• Plans and directs group activities aimed at developing appropriate group interaction, team work and cooperation
• Teaches physical education
• Supervises, coaches and/or instructs indoor and outdoor team and athletic events
• Participates in maintenance, procurement and selection of athletic equipment, facilities and supplies
• Other duties as assigned
