COMPREHENSIVE YOUTH SERVICES, inc. in Michigan is seeking a Program Assistant for the Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs.

The role involves day, evening, and overnight shifts within a two-week pay period and supports program operations, staff and clients. The position requires at least two years of college in a human services field, two years of relevant work experience, and compliance with TB testing and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of 2 years of college in a human services field.
• 2 years of work experience in a child caring setting.
• Proof of negative TB test and three professional references.

Responsabilités

• Fulfill duties of an Intervention Specialist or Transitional Living Specialist, including scheduled shifts.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Assist in health and fire standards, licensing rules, nutrition and medical needs, and building maintenance.
• Inventory, purchase and organize food, household items and office supplies; process purchase orders.
• Assist in purchasing clothing, school supplies and other client items; process orders.
• Oversee building cleanliness and organization.
• Inventory and organize donations and agency clothing/hygiene supplies.
• Complete 25 hours of training per fiscal year as required by State licensing.
• Complete time sheets by pay period end and attend monthly meetings.
