Job summary

Greater-Kc-Linc is seeking a Youth Development Professional for Truman Elementary Pre-K on a part-time, on-site basis. The role focuses on safety, welcoming environments, and assisting with daily operations across our sites.

You will collaborate with staff to respond quickly to needs and maintain orderly, secure conditions for students and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the physical stamina to perform hands-on tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work part-time with a flexible schedule, including possible evenings or weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; friendly and approachable.
• Ability to interact with staff, visitors and students with professionalism.
• Basic knowledge of safety and site operational procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cleanliness and safety of the site to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment for daily ops or events.
• Provide on-site support to visitors and staff; answer questions and direct them as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or disruptions promptly to the right personnel.
• Collaborate with team to implement site procedures and support continuous improvement.
