Job summary

YMCA of Honolulu seeks a Site Coordinator to oversee the School Age Childcare and DOE A+ After School Programs. The candidate will ensure a safe, caring environment while adhering to all standards and policies set by the organization.

This role involves training and managing staff and volunteers, developing engaging programs, and fostering positive relationships with participants. Candidates should be 20 years or older and preferably hold a degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of age required.
• Two years of college coursework in recreation, education, or social work preferred.
• Experience with school-age children and group management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise YMCA School Age Childcare and DOE A+ After School Programs.
• Develop new programs and activities focused on Youth Development.
• Serve as a role model and ensure safety and welfare for all participants.
• Train and manage staff and volunteers.
