Job summary

Pope Memorial Library in Danville, VT seeks a Youth Services Assistant to oversee youth services under the Library Director’s direction. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or working toward one.
• Experience with children’s library services preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all youth services under the Library Director’s supervision.
• Plan and execute children’s programs and maintain program spaces.
• Provide front desk assistance, including circulation, reference and reader’s advisory services.
• Promote library services and programs to youth and families.
• Develop grant proposals relating to youth services when appropriate.
