Big Sky Community Organization is seeking Youth Program Instructors (YPIs) to support our BASEcamp After School program, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging daily experience for children in the Big Sky community. YPIs serve as primary caregivers, maintain student safety, encourage participation, and help kids learn and grow throughout the week or school year.
The role involves setting up activities, managing behavior, building relationships with students, parents, and staff, and collaborating
Youth Program Instructors (YPIs) are a critical part of our Youth Programming. YPIs work within the structure of our BASEcamp After School program to make each day a fun, safe, and unique experience for children in the Big Sky community, all while incorporating your own flair and activity ideas. YPIs are the primary caregiver for each student and are responsible for maintaining students’ safety, encouraging their participation in activities and within the group, and for helping them learn and grow throughout the week or school year
After School program runs Mon-Thurs 3:00- 6:00pm; BASE Night's Out one Friday every month from 6:00-9:00pm
1. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or willingness to obtain certifications
2. Ability to pass background check
1. Prior experience working in an after school or childcare setting
2. Experience working with children preferred, but not required
